THE GATHERING OF THE

MG FAITHFUL (GOF)

Each year the Wagga Wagga Club hosts a Gathering of the MG Faithful. It’s a fun, informal and low-cost event in a great city. The event coincides with the Wagga Wagga Jazz Festival and the town is really alive for the weekend. We participate as a Club and this year the plan is:

Friday 12 September

• Departure 11.00am (TBC) from Gold Creek for the leisurely drive to Wagga Wagga. There will be a break for lunch at the Long Track Pantry at Jugiong

• Free afternoon in Wagga

• Happy Hour from 5.00 pm at the Union Club Hotel with then many options for dinner and jazz

Saturday 13 September

• GOF Registration

• The GOF Observation run and afternoon tea

• The GOF dinner

Sunday 14 September

• The Gathering and GOF breakfast

• Presentation of trophies

• Departure for home around lunch time

We have pre-booked a number of rooms for Club members at the recently refurbished Charles Sturt Motel. It is located close to the GOF and town centre, will cost from $125.00 per night. What do you need to do?

• Independently register for the GOF by completing and posting the Registration Form available from the web site or through the Secretary

• Place your name on the Social Secretary’s list at a Club meeting or contact Brian & Christine direct.
