Burgundy in colour with chrome wires. The usual
extensive financial outlay, never to be recovered, has been made to
bring the car up to a high standard including re trimming (seats alone
cost $2000), and a bare metal re spray. All chrome in good order.
Fitted with electronic ignition, and a 5 speed Supra gear box which
perfectly matches the slightly warm motor. An anti- run on device
prevents the usual MBG run on at shut down. Selling due to advancing
years.
A steal at $22,000

Austin Healey Sprite Mk1 (“Bugeye”)

|
I have owned this fun
little car for 30 years. Originally my daily driver, it has been
unregistered and stored in my garage for a number of years. I have
receipts for
$4,000 spent on suspension, steering, brakes, etc. It is a 1960-61
Australian
assembled vehicle, with a later fibreglass bonnet. Condition is
basically sound, but it
needs a repaint, new soft-top and some tlc from someone who has the
time to get it
back on the road and enjoy it.
Car is located in Canberra.
$14,000
