History
Since its first  registration on 2nd May 1955 in Sydney, this TF has had 5 caring owners to date.
The 2nd  owner was a specialist  car & MG  Mechanic who  serviced the car over  41 years including  the 3rd & 4th ownership period.
Current owner ,Retired  Heritage Architect has its full history documented incl.
Australian shipping arrival infomation and UK Heritage Certificate No.13980 of build date.
2nd owner executed major engine & gearbox  rebuild including,
renewal of original MG Autumn Red duco (Wine Red) and matching upholstery in mid 1970's.
3rd owner had car stored for 7 years (1998 - 2004 ) yet regularly serviced by 2nd owner during that time.
4th owner had car regularly serviced by another specialist MG mechanic.
Condition 
Complete with good quality black vinyl soft top with red piping, all matching  side screens, half  & full tonneau covers, all in good condition.
Timber MG steering wheel.
Body, motor and electrics  significantly  intact to original specifications .
All framing sound. Underside fully " Proof coated "
5 good Michelin tyres.
Upholstery in good condition.
Newly re- carpeted in matching interior red
Recent work involved tail shaft unions rebuilt , speedo  recalibrated, new heavy duty battery, new  electric fuel pump & wire wheels repainted.
Engine No. XPEG 3709, Body No. 6173
Registration until May 2012. Speedo reads 102,208 miles as of 23.12 .2011 (over  56 years )
Performance & Servicing
Engine starts & runs  consistently well.
Steering direct & body rides comfortably for this vintage
Current owner has car regularly serviced & tuned by specialist Classic & Race Car mechanic  
Regular Use.
The car has been regularly used weekly on local Classic  Car Club runs only on fine days.
Viewing
The car can be viewed at current owner's place at Mittagong NSW where country roads are available for test drive.

ALVIS TC21/100 – ‘Grey Lady’
 


Prior to my purchase 4 years ago, had undergone full bare metal re-spray with new leather interior, head cloth and carpets. Since then it has been fitted with new tyres, battery, vacuum advance mechanism and carburetors rebuilt. The front end has been completely rebuilt recently with new bushes, sleeves, trunnion pins, correctly rated coils and new shock absorbers. Excellent mechanical condition and mileage of 120,700 believed to be genuine. 
ACT Historic registration until Oct ’11.   $27,000

MGB GT Parts: 
On behalf of a club member's family in Hervey Bay, Queensland, we are currently dismantling a 1971 MGB GT which was in excellent condition.  
The car has suffered serious damage (not repairable) to the middle passenger side section.
Most parts are available including a fully rebuilt engine (Approx 4,000 km), overdrive gearbox, running gear, Rostyle wheels, front bumper etc.
