Club Special General Meeting

As advised in the Notice of 23 April 2026, a Special General Meeting is to be held on Thursday 14 May 2026 to consider, in addition to the business to be conducted under an Ordinary General Meeting, the following motion as a special resolution:

"That the MG Car Club Canberra Inc. adopt changes to the Constution as presented at this meeting."

The guest speaker / presentation for tonight will be Malcolm Robertson will show the same Super 8 movie that he showed at the Club's very first evening meeting, a film night, held in June 1976. The film covers the epic 2000 mile drive from Canberra to Launceston and back that Malcolm and his wife Liz made to attend the MG National Meeting over Easter in 1976 in their 1932 MG J2. Malcolm reports that they must have been mad – he wouldn't do it today!

The presentation will be followed by the Special General Meeting finishing with supper and a chat with other members.

All members are most welcome and encouraged to attend.
